These terms apply to orders placed on posylkypraha.com and to parcels accepted at the Carrier's warehouse.
1. Parties and subject
Carrier - Posylky Praha s.r.o., IČO 21058326, address Švédská 1010/15, 150 00 Praha, Česká republika (the Carrier). Shipper - a natural or legal person who hands over a parcel and submits an order on Posylky Praha.
Subject: accepting a parcel at a warehouse in Czechia from a sender in an EU country, consolidating it with other shipments, preparing accompanying documents from the order data, and handing it to the delivery service in the destination country. The Carrier may use subcontractors.
The contract is formed when the Carrier confirms the order and accepts the parcel at the warehouse. Submitting the website form alone does not start carriage.
2. What is included and excluded
Included: intake, warehouse handling, consolidation, completing CN22/CN23 and the waybill from Shipper data, handover to the delivery service, and sharing an available tracking number.
Excluded: paying customs charges, representing the addressee before customs, insurance above declared value unless agreed separately, storage beyond the agreed period, door delivery if the delivery service only offers postal pickup.
The Carrier does not promise control of every parcel at every transfer point: shipments travel in a consolidated batch.
3. Weight, size and value
Standard shipments: max 20 kg, each side max 100 cm, length plus girth of the largest cross-section max 200 cm. Over 20 kg - express only.
Express: max 30 kg, each side max 150 cm, length plus girth max 300 cm. Heavier than 30 kg cannot be sent.
Weight starts at 0.5 kg - the envelope has a flat price per destination. Boxes follow the tariff grid. For a box, billing uses the greater of actual warehouse weight and 1 kg.
Declared value in the order must not exceed 300 €. EAEU duty-free guideline is 300 €: above that, any duty is paid by the addressee. Watches and jewellery - max 200 €.
Standard calculator sizes are priced by weight tariff. For non-standard parcels, select "Oversized": ordinary mail - the 20 kg rate plus 1000 CZK, express - the 30 kg rate plus 1000 CZK. Prague courier - 179 CZK, Czechia drop-off only.
4. Contents
The Shipper warrants that contents are not prohibited under Czech, German, transit or destination law and match the Prohibited items page. The list may be incomplete.
Prohibited items include weapons and parts, ammunition, drugs, medicines without prior approval, cash and monetary instruments, passports, precious metals, live creatures, dangerous goods, and much consumer electronics.
The Carrier may open, refuse or hold a parcel if prohibited contents are suspected, without compensating lost profit.
5. Order, declaration and data responsibility
The Shipper completes the order: sender in Latin script, addressee, phones, email, contents, quantities, value, weight and dimensions.
The Carrier prepares the customs declaration and waybill from that data. This is a paperwork service, not assumption of customs liability. Accuracy remains the Shipper's duty.
Errors in name, address, postcode, addressee phone, undervaluation or false contents allow the Carrier to refuse carriage and recover costs, fines and demurrage.
6. Customs and duties
For EAEU countries the company guides senders with an operational limit of 300 € per parcel. This is not a promise of duty-free clearance: thresholds and rates are set by the destination state and change.
Posylky Praha does not pay customs charges or clear goods for the addressee. A held parcel is handled by the addressee.
The site duty example (15% of excess over the limit, min 2 €/kg) follows public EAEU rules as of the revision date. Customs may calculate differently.
7. Price and payment
The preliminary site price follows the rate table. The final price is after warehouse weighing and measuring.
An invoice or amount due is payable within 7 calendar days. Pay by card online (Stripe) or by bank transfer: Česká spořitelna, IBAN CZ94 0800 0000 0065 4798 1399.
Until payment arrives, the Carrier may withhold handover to the delivery service.
8. Tracking numbers
Internal PP- numbers are issued after warehouse intake. Postal / express numbers - after the batch is handed to the delivery service.
Delivery statuses on the site come from a tracking provider. The Carrier is not liable for completeness or timeliness of third-party statuses.
9. Liability
The Carrier is liable for loss or damage caused by the Carrier up to the documented declared value, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
Indirect loss, lost profit, delivery or customs delays, damage from insufficient packing, and seizure of prohibited contents are not compensated.
Claims go to the company Telegram within a reasonable time after delivery or presumed loss, with tracking number and photos.
10. Law and disputes
Czech Republic law applies, including Act No. 89/2012 Sb. (Civil Code) and consumer rules if the Shipper is a consumer.
Unresolved disputes are heard by Czech courts at the Carrier's seat unless mandatory law requires otherwise. Personal data supervision - Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (ÚOOÚ).
